Editing Quick Texts
You can make changes to your personal quick texts. For example, you can rename them, change which body parts or modalities to which they are associated, or change the content of the phrases for the quick texts.
To edit a quick text:
- In the Quick Text Manager, select the quick text you want to edit, and then click Edit.
- To change the name of the quick text, enter the new name in the Name field. For more on the factors you should consider when naming or renaming quick texts, see Creating Quick Texts.
- To change the shortcut, enter the new shortcut name in the Shortcut field.
- To change the quick text associations, see Associating Quick Texts with Modalities and Body Parts.

To format and organize the quick text, do the following:

Bold the text.
Italicize the text.
Underline the text.
Insert a bulleted list. This is only available for radiologists using MMR.
Add a special field that contains a custom value. See Inserting Custom Value Fields in Quick Text.
Add a special field that contains order information. See Inserting Order Information in Quick Texts.
Undo the last action. The Quick Text Editor supports multiple levels of undo.
Redo the last undo. The Quick Text Editor supports multiple levels of redo.
