Stacking Images with Toggle Stacking
To reduce hand fatigue when stacking through images, you can use Toggle Stacking mode to move the mouse up and down to stack through images without holding the mouse button down.
You can assign Toggle Stacking activation/deactivation to any mouse button, except the left and right buttons, which are reserved for interacting with the user interface and the contextual/radial menu respectively.
By default, the middle mouse button activates Toggle Stacking.
The Toggle Stacking tool remains active when you use the left mouse button to move between viewports.
By default, middle mouse button can activate both Toggle Stacking, a click-only tool, and Window Leveling, a drag-and-click tool. If you are having trouble using the middle mouse button to activate Toggle Stacking, remove the Middle-Click & Drag preference from the Window Level tool in the Mouse Shortcuts in the User Configuration preferences.
