Managing Custom Report and Addendum Templates

Radiologists and transcriptionists can use InteleViewer to create and manage report templates and addendum templates to be used in dictations. Radiologists can self-sign the report created from a custom report template, bypassing the transcriptionist. Or, they can choose to send text, audio, or a combination of the two to transcriptionists.

You create and manage templates in the Report Template Manager. Once you create a template, you can edit, rename, delete, duplicate, or share it.

Unlike the templates created using the AnyModal Console by a PACS administrator or by a representative in professional services, these templates are created directly by the user in InteleViewer.

Typically, Intelerad provides a default addendum template for your site. Before creating a new addendum template, contact your PACS administrator for best practices.

The workflow for creating and using templates is as follows:

• Create a template.
• Match rules to the template.
• Use the template in the dictation process.
• Transcribe a report or addendum using the custom template.
