A global template is a report template or an addendum template that can be used by any user. Users must have the Manage Report Template privilege in InteleBrowser to create global report templates. |
These templates may contain fields that automatically populate with either order (HL7) information or user-defined information.
To create a report or addendum template:
- Access the Report Template Manager. See Accessing the Report Template Manager.
-
In the Report Template Manager, click Create Template.
The Document Model Selection window appears.
This window appears only if multiple document models are configured for your workflow.
- To review the various document models, click each to display the default sections in each.
-
Select a report or addendum document model and click OK.
The Template Editor appears.
-
In the Name field, enter a name for your report template.
Since the report template name can be used in a voice command, the name should only contain alphanumeric characters, and be easy to pronounce.
-
In the Category field, select whether to make the template a personal or a global template.
To use this feature, ask your PACS administrator to enable the Manage Report Template privilege in your user account.
- To enter a field in one of the sections, refer to the section on Adding, Editing, or Deleting a Field, later in this topic.
-
Click Save to save the report or addendum template.
The template appears in the list of templates in the Report Template Manager.
