Cerner Visual Desktop Integration (VDI) Preferences

Set the Cerner VDI preferences to manually or automatically launch Cerner VDI when you open a study. You set the preferences to open the study by accession number, or by patient ID or number. For information on using Cerner VDI, refer to your Cerner product documentation.

To use this feature, ask your PACS administrator to enable the Cerner VDI and Third-Party RIS privileges in your user account.

Launch AutomaticallyLaunches Cerner VDI automatically when you open a study in InteleViewer.

Launch ManuallyAllows you to launch Cerner VDI manually by clicking the Cerner VDI icon on the toolbar.

Open by Accession Number Opens the study in Cerner VDI by accession number.

Open by Patient ID or Patient Number (M.R.N.) Opens the study in Cerner VDI by Patient ID or Patient Number.
