Putting Aside an Order in the Patient Record Tab
When you view reports in the Patient Record Tab (PRT), InteleViewer uses a specific workflow to switch focus between windows. After you close a PRT, InteleViewer then focuses on the next open PRT. In the absence of an open PRT, InteleViewer will place focus on the worklist.
If you want to stop working on an order in the PRT, but do not want to close the order and lose all of the measurements that you have made on the images, you can put the order aside. For example, you are working on a routine order and a STAT order appears on your worklist. You want to take care of the STAT order before finishing your routine order but you do not want to close the routine order. In this case, you can put the routine order aside.
If you have several PRTs open, and you close an order, InteleViewer focuses on the next open PRT and ignores the order you have put aside.
If you have the Automatically Open Next Order option enabled for PRTs, and you put a PRT aside, InteleViewer ignores that PRT and displays the next open order, or to the next order in the worklist.
When you close InteleViewer, all PRTs close as well and you will be prompted to save or discard your changes.
If your InteleViewer session is locked, the PRTs that are open remain open, and the put aside state is preserved.
