Managing Quick Texts

Quick texts are a standard reply to a common scenario that you can reuse in transcriptions. Creating quick texts saves you time when transcribing reports.

Transcriptionists use quick texts to generate reports for radiologists more rapidly. For example, perhaps you use the following standard text when transcribing on a normal heart imaging: “Compared to the previous examination, no significant change is noted.” By defining this standard text as a quick text, you can reuse it in any section of any report.

Use the Quick Text Manager to:

  • Create quick texts.
  • Create quick texts from existing quick texts.
  • Associate quick texts with modalities and body parts.
  • Add custom or order information fields in quick texts.
  • Edit quick texts.
  • Delete quick texts.
