Editing Draft Transcriptions or Transcribed Reports

You can edit draft transcriptions and transcribed reports. Editing draft transcriptions and transcribed reports involves inserting quick text, changing formatting, inserting sections, and so on.

The Dictated worklist includes draft transcriptions, which are dictations that contain report text. A radiologist who uses MMR can dictate the audio report and add text to the dictation before sending it to you.

Draft transcriptions that were dictated using Multi-Method Reporting might contain information from a technologist`s worksheet report. This information is displayed in green fields. You can edit and navigate the fields like any other fields in a draft transcription.

Your PACS must be configured to allow for draft transcriptions. For more information, contact the Intelerad Technical SupportCenter.

After you have transcribed and sent a dictation, the transcribed report appears in the Transcribed worklist. You can edit the transcribed report before the radiologist signs it.

Once the radiologist signs the report, it can no longer be edited.
