About Worksheet Report Templates
To reduce the time it takes to dictate a report, Multi-Method Reporting (MMR) provides a worksheet report template.
The Worksheet Report template contains information that the technologist gathered during the exam.
For example, a technologist uses SonoReview to fill a worksheet report for an ultrasound procedure. When you open the order, information from the technologist`s worksheet report is displayed automatically. You do not have to dictate the measurements and findings from the exam.
If you are using MMR with Dictation Module, the worksheet report fields are shown in green. If you are using MMR with M*Modal, you do not see a color difference in the fields.
This feature requires IntelePACS 4.14.1 and later, and that you have purchased the third-party technologist software that is integrated with InteleViewer. For more information, contact your PACS administrator.
When you open an order containing a technologist worksheet report, the report appears as a template named Worksheet Report and displays the information from the technologist’s worksheet.
Depending on how your IntelePACS is configured, you can view the original technologist worksheet as a scanned document in the Document Viewer, and as a thumbnail image in the thumbnail strip in the Viewport.
Order linking with worksheet reports works the same way as order linking with normal reports in MMR, but the matching is based on the application that sent the report. If you have several orders that contain the Worksheet Report template, only the worksheet report of the leading order is displayed. For example, if you are linking orders with several SonoReview reports, the SonoReview Worksheet Report of the leading order is the one that appears.
When you open an order containing a worksheet report using MMR with M*Modal, MMR automatically switches to self-editing mode. For example, when you open an order that has a SonoReview worksheet report, MMR automatically switches to self-editing mode even if you have not saved that setting as a preference. In this case, the self-editing mode is specific to the order containing the SonoReview worksheet. If your preferences are set to live mode, any order that is opened that does not contain a worksheet report opens in live mode.
If the technologist has updated a worksheet report that you are currently working on, InteleViewer does not update you with that information. Reload the study from the worklist to update your worksheet report template.
You can do all of the same things that you do with normal reports when you dictate a Worksheet Report report using Multi-Method Reporting. For example, you can:
- link orders
- edit and add fields
- insert quick texts
- save as draft (the draft report changes to the Worksheet Report Draft template)
- send the report to the trancriptionist
- sign the report
