Searching for Transcribed Reports by Accession Number

In the Transcribed worklist, you can search for transcriptions and any associated addenda using an accession number.

When you search by accession number, that action takes precedence and ignores all other filtering or search criteria. For example, if you filter the list to show only reports done for the CT modality, and then you want to add a search for a certain accession number, InteleViewer displays only that study and ignores the previously filtered CT modality results.

Searching by accession number displays transcriptions that you wouldn't normally see in your Transcribed worklist. The results include all reports and associated addenda that match that accession number, regardless of when they were transcribed, or who transcribed them.

To search using an accession number:

  1. In the Transcribed worklist, type the accession number in the Accession Number text box.

You must type an exact accession number to get matches. The search is also case sensitive. For example, if you are searching for reports with accession number "ABC123", and you type "abc123", no results are displayed. If you type only "abc", the list does not automatically generate as you type, and no transcriptions are displayed.

  2. Press Enter.

The worklist displays all transcriptions and any associated addenda with that accession number.
