About Dictating Reports

The method that you use to record your reports depends on your configuration. If your system is configured with the Dictation Module, you can create a digital audio file of your report, which is then stored on the IntelePACS and available for transcription.

However, you may use a hand-held tape recorder or a third-party application, such as PowerScribe, to record your reports. If so, except for PowerScribe 360 and bi-directional RadWhere, use the Reporting Worklist Module to mark exams as dictated once you have finished.

If you use grouped procedures in your workflow, you will not be able to dictate individual procedures from a group. You must create a single dictation for the entire order.

If you use linked orders in your workflow, once you link the orders, InteleViewer creates a single dictation for all the linked orders.
