Signing a Report or Addendum

After you have made corrections or additions, you can sign the draft report or draft addendum as final. To sign the draft report or draft addendum, click Sign. The order is sent to the Dictated tab in the worklist. If your IntelePACS is configured to work with a RIS, the report is also signed and sent to the RIS.

If you use linked orders in your workflow, InteleViewer creates a single report or addendum for all linked orders. When you sign the draft report or draft addendum, each linked order appears in a separate row in the Dictated tab.

In cases where the dictating radiologist cannot sign a report or addendum, for example, because of vacation or emergencies, another radiologist can proxy sign the report or addendum.
