Proxy Signing Reports or Addendums

In cases where the dictating radiologist cannot sign a report or addendum, for example, because of vacation or emergencies, another radiologist can proxy sign the report or addendum.

To use the To Sign tab and to proxy sign a report, ask your PACS administrator to configure your user account with the following:

  • Assign the Radiologist role.
  • Enable the View Report, Dictate Report, and Proxy Sign privileges.
  • Assign a RIS ID.

To proxy sign a report:

  1. In the Signing worklist, from the View Report For list, select the radiologist, or select All Radiologists.
  2. Select the report.
  3. To review the images, click Show Images.
  4. Edit the report, if desired.

  5. Click Proxy Sign.

    InteleViewer sends the report to the dictating radiologist's Dictated section of the Worklist. The report displays your name and the name of the dictating radiologist.
