Measurement Preferences

Set the measurements preferences to customize the behavior of the measurement tools.

Keep Measurement Tool Active Sets the location to limit where the measurement tool remains active. You can select to keep the measurement tool active in a selected series, a selected image, or in all viewports. Depending on your selection, if you move your mouse outside the selected series, selected image, or a viewport, InteleViewer reverts to the previously selected tool. You can also choose to keep the measurement tool active for just one measurement, after which InteleViewer reverts to the tool you selected previously.

Default Measurement Tool Sets the default measurement tool. The default tool is the one that is active when you click the measurement tool in the toolbar.

Measurement Units Allows you to set the default measurement unit. Options include either millimeters or centimeters.

Show Measurement Reference Lines Sets viewing preferences for reference lines when measuring straight and orthogonal lines. By default, reference lines are enabled.

Show Dynamic Units on Linear Measurements Enable to show measurement units as you draw a line. The sub-options allow you to define the behavior further: To specify that the left-mouse button be used to draw permanent measurement lines, and CTRL + the left-mouse button be used to draw temporary measurement lines, enable the applicable sub-option. To specify that the left-mouse button be used to draw temporary measurement lines, and CTRL + the left-mouse button be used to draw permanent measurement lines, enable the applicable sub-option.
