Setting the Sequence Protocol Preferences

For CT, MR, US, X-ray, PT, RF, ES, NM, OT, and XA modalities, you can configure InteleViewer to automatically fill viewports for which no matching series are found. The unmatched viewports are filled with series that are not currently displayed in other viewports.

To set the sequence protocol preferences:

  1. From the main menu, choose Utilities | User Preferences (Ctrl+U).
  2. Choose the modality whose preferences you want to set, and then click the User Interface tab.

  3. Under Sequence Protocol, do one of the following:

    • To allow InteleViewer to automatically fill an unmatched viewport with the first non-displayed series for the corresponding study, enable the Fill Unmatched Viewports with Non-Displayed Series preference. In this case, an unmatched viewport effectively reverts to an "Any" view. If multiple unmatched viewports are present, the viewports are filled sequentially. Series are selected sequentially in the same order as they appear in the Thumbnail strip.
    • To leave an unmatched viewport empty, disable the Fill Unmatched Viewports with Non-Displayed Series preference. The empty viewport displays a message indicating that no matching series was found for the specified view rule. For example, "No matching series was found for: 1st Prior X-ray Decub".
