Viewing Images for Orthopedic Templating

Depending on your IntelePACS configuration, InteleViewer can be used to launch TraumaCad (from Orthocrat) to use image data to pre-plan surgical procedures.

Your work in TraumaCad can be saved as a series on the IntelePACS and opened later for viewing or to continue working with them. In the Search tool, the TraumaCad series appear in the originating study.

To launch an orthopedic planning application, you must first configure the TraumaCad preferences.

A DICOM AE Title must be configured for the TraumaCad application. Also, ask your PACS administrator to enable the Third-Party Viewer privilege in your user account.

To open images in TraumaCad:

1. Open all the images you want to view, and display them in the viewports.

2. From the main menu, choose Utilities | Launch TraumaCad.

   The TraumaCad application launches automatically and displays all series that were opened in the viewports.

   InteleViewer first automatically saves the images to your local cache, and they are then opened in TraumaCad.For information on using the TraumaCad features, please refer to your product documentation.
