Transcribing Addendum Reports
Addendum reports allow radiologists to add information to exams that already have an existing report. Addenda can be used, for example, to re-dictate a case or to add supplementary information to the report.
Report addenda appear as new dictations. You transcribe an addendum report in the same way that you would transcribe a dictation.
You cannot transcribe an addendum if there is no transcribed report. If there is no report available (preliminary or signed) for the orders associated with the addendum, you will be prompted to transcribe a report instead.
