Saving a Draft Report in PowerScribe 360

While dictating a report in PowerScribe 360, you can save a draft of the report and resume dictating later. Saving a draft is useful if you are interrupted while dictating, and you need to access another order.

You must select PowerScribe 360, or PowerScribe 360 with ClickView, as the dictation system in InteleViewer.

When you save a draft report in PowerScribe 360, IntelePACS locks the corresponding order if the PowerScribe 360 Long-Term Parking feature is enabled on your IntelePACS. You can access a locked order for reporting only if you saved the draft in PowerScribe 360. You cannot report on an order that is locked by another radiologist. The PowerScribe 360 Long-term Parking feature is disabled by default. To enable this feature, contact your PACS administrator.

When you save a draft addendum, the order is never locked since an order can have multiple addenda created by different radiologists.

Click Save to keep the changes that you made since resuming the report, or Discard to save the report without your modifications. Saving a PowerScribe 360 report in this manner does not lock the order. Once the report closes, the order is available to other radiologists for reporting. • The corresponding Patient Record tab remains open in InteleViewer.

The order remains locked for as long as you have the order open in InteleViewer. When you close the order or InteleViewer, the lock is removed and the order is available for reporting by other radiologists.
