Recording a Video of Your Workstation Screen for Intelerad Technical Support
When a problem is difficult to explain or requires a lot of steps to reproduce, it might be easier and more useful to record the events on screen as you demonstrate the problem. With the Record Screen feature, you can create a video up to three minutes long of the problem occurring on screen, including your cursor movements and clicks. The recording is then sent to your IntelePACS along with the log files.
To record the video, FFmpeg.exe must be installed on your workstation. For more information, see your PACS administrator.
To record the screen:
- From the InteleViewer main menu, choose Help | Record Screen.
-
Choose what you want to record. Click one of the following:
- All InteleViewer windows: to record only the areas inside the open InteleViewer windows.
- All monitors: to record all the workstation screens.
- Click Start Recording.
-
When your demonstration is complete, click Stop Recording.
The Screen Recording Review dialog appears with the recording which you can play to verify that it captured the problem adequately.
- In the Notes field, type any additional information you want to provide to Intelerad Technical Support.
- Click Send to Server to send the recording, notes, and relevant logs to a folder in the IntelePACS server.
- From the Intelerad Technical Support, update your case to inform Intelerad Technical Support that the recording is available.
