Understanding the Mini-Chat Window

You can display the Mini-Chat window by clicking the Chat icon  in the status bar. The Mini-Chat window is a compact version of the Messaging tab. It allows you to change your chat status, or search for a chat user by name or group.

Right-click a name in the contact list to display a menu with several options that allow you to start a conversation with the selected user, send them a link to the currently opened study, request their telephone number, copy their email address to the clipboard, or remove them from your contact list.

Place your cursor over a name in the contact list to show the selected chat user’s telephone number and other summary information.
