Reordering Layout Protocols

When you open studies by using Layout Management, layout protocols are searched from the top of the list to the bottom until a match is found. Therefore, it is important to make sure to order the layout protocols from the most specific (in terms of study and series match criteria) at the top, to the most generic at the bottom.

For example, place a layout protocol for “bone 4 views scan” above one for “bone scan.”

To reorder layout protocols:

1. Choose the modality whose preferences you want to set, and then click the Layout Protocols tab.
2. Click a layout protocol to select it.

3. Click the up arrow or down arrow buttons to position the layout protocol as required.
