Customizing Keyboard Shortcuts

You can configure keyboard shortcuts that allow you to quickly access the various tools, windows, dialogs, series and image layout options, and other functionalities-or commands provided from the main menu of InteleViewer.

From a tab in the User Preferences section of InteleViewer, you can view all the commands available for shortcut customization.

Certain keys are reserved by the system and cannot be used as a shortcut for a command. For example, the Page Up and Page Down keys are reserved by the system for paging. Keys that may cause unpredictable behavior, such as the Print Screen and the Pause keys, are also prohibited for use as a shortcut.

In a few instances, you can assign a shortcut to “cycle through” or switch between the various tools in a category. For example, you may assign the shortcut M to cycle through the measurement tools. As such, each time you click M in a viewport, a different measurement tool (the Linear Measurement tool, the Elliptical ROI Measurement tool, and so on) is enabled.

You can unassign previously assigned shortcuts, if necessary. You can also reset a shortcut to the default value provided by InteleViewer.
