Viewing 3D Renderings
InteleViewer provides 3D visualization of images to facilitate clinical diagnosis and surgical planning. An orthopedic surgeon might find the 3D rendering to be helpful in examining a multifragmentary fracture of a leg prior to surgery, for example.
InteleViewer provides multiple pre-configured renderings for examining a dataset—such as Vessel Mono or Bone 3D Muscle—enabling you to emphasize various components of the images as needed.
To view a 3D rendering:
- Open the MR or CT series that you would like to render in 3D.
- Click the triangle icon
to expand the Advanced Visualization toolbar.
-
Click the 3D menu button
to show 3D rendering tools.
An error message appears if your dataset cannot be rendered in 3D.
-
Select the required rendering type from the menu.
The image appears in the 3D rendering you selected.
