Displaying the Image Overlay
You can display DICOM Group 6000 overlays and embedded overlays on the image, or hide them to better see the underlying image. This information is referred to as the image overlay. The image overlay can contain reference marks, graphic annotations, bitmapped text, or Regions of Interest (ROI).
To display the image overlay:

Open the required study. See About Opening Studies and Series.
Image overlay information is displayed in white on the image automatically.
A check mark appears next to the Image Overlay option in the View menu to indicate that it is active.

Do one of the following:
- To hide the image overlay, choose View | Image Overlay.
- To view the image overlay, choose View | Image Overlay.
