Upgrading InteleViewer
When you start InteleViewer, it automatically checks (once per day) if an upgrade to the application is available and, if so, notifies you. You can also check for upgrades manually at any time.
Depending on the options set at installation, you may also be able to update the software when new versions are available. For information, contact your PACS administrator.
To upgrade the application:
- From the main menu, choose Utilities | Check for Application Update.

Select an upgrade track to determine the type of InteleViewer version that you want to use:

To upgrade by using:
Stable
The most recent, stable version of the application. It is typically recommended that you choose this option, particularly for clinical workstations.
Advanced
A stable, but more advanced, version of the application. This option is typically recommended for diagnostic workstations.
Evaluation
A version still being evaluated by the PACS administrator, which could change frequently. Use this option at your own risk.
The upgrade track is set based on the workstation. All users on your workstation will be affected by this setting.
The tracks available with your IntelePACS may differ from those listed here.

Click Check for Upgrade.
If an upgrade is available for the track you selected, the Intelerad InteleViewer Upgrade dialog appears.
This dialog also appears automatically when InteleViewer detects that there is a new version available on the upgrade track that you selected.
- Click Next.

Click Upgrade.
The newest version of InteleViewer is installed.

Click Done.
After upgrading, you must restart InteleViewer to continue working.
