Understanding the Protocol Preview

You can view reading steps, matching sequence protocols, and relevant prior studies in the Protocol Preview pane. You can also capture, edit, delete, and reorder reading steps.

The Protocol Preview pane appears to the right of the Thumbnail strip. If your workstation has multiple monitors, the Protocol Preview pane can span across them. The Protocol Preview contains the following:

  • Protocol list
  • Priors check box
  • Comparison list (if priors are available)
  • Reset button
  • reading steps for the current sequence protocol
  • buttons to create a new step, edit a layout, delete a step, and reorder steps

The Protocol list contains all activated sequence protocols that match the current study’s normalized modality. You can select another protocol in the Protocol list. By default, InteleViewer applies the best-suited sequence protocol for the current study, which is shown as the first entry in the list.

When enabled, the Priors check box displays the reading steps in the sequence protocol that are in the protocol’s With Priors list. Enabling this check box consequently displays the Comparison list. The Comparison list contains comparable prior studies that you can use to override the prior studies automatically picked by the sequence protocol.
