About the Advanced Visualization Toolbar

The Advanced Visualization toolbar provides you with advanced imaging capabilities for general diagnostic purposes. InteleViewer’s integration with High-Definition Volume Rendering technology by Fovia, Inc. allows you to manipulate large datasets of MR or CT images.

You can only perform Advanced Visualization reformatting or rendering with CT or MR series that have at least 10 parallel, equidistant, and equally sized images—each with a resolution greater than 2 x 2.

Use the various Advanced Visualization tools to do the following:

  • view multi-planar reformats
  • alter slice thickness
  • switch to axial, sagittal, or coronal view
  • manipulate slice plane location and angle by using an oblique tool
  • view 3D rendering of images

You can create sequence protocols to apply configured layouts when reformatting images in Advanced Visualization. Additionally, the original dataset must not have more than 4096 images.

While using Advanced Visualization, the Stack tool allows you to stack through every image in a series with one drag of your mouse cursor from the top to bottom of the viewport. (Typically, stacking through every image may require several drags of your mouse cursor.)
