Setting Application Preferences

Use the application preferences to configure and customize the interface, default tool options, and appearance.

To set application preferences:

1. From the main menu, choose Utilities | User Preferences (Ctrl+U).

   The User Preferences dialog appears.

2. Click the required application preferences option in the menu. For example, click Measurements to configure the preferences for measurement tools.

   The corresponding preference settings appear.

3. Set the options as required.

   The available options are described in the following sections.

4. Click OK.

   Your changes are saved and the User Preferences dialog closes.

   You can click Apply to save your changes and continue working in the User Preferences dialog.
