Selecting a Fellow or Attending

Fellow and attending radiologists are responsible for reviewing, correcting if necessary, and signing the reports that have been dictated and signed by a resident.

If you are a resident, you can select a fellow and an attending to review the report, or you can select just an attending. Selecting a fellow is optional.

If you are a fellow, you must select an attending to review the report.

The Resident Over-Reads module must be enabled on your IntelePACS to use a resident/fellow/attending or resident/attending workflow. For more information, contact your PACS administrator.

To select a fellow and attending:

1. If you are a resident, and would like the report reviewed by a fellow, select a fellow from the list.

   Only the resident can see the Fellow list.

2. To remove the fellow from the workflow, disable the checkbox.

3. From the Attending list, select the attending. Both the resident and fellow radiologists must select an attending from the list.

   

   The report will be displayed in the Signing worklist of the reviewing radiologists that you have selected.
