Creating Print Protocols
Use print protocols to save a configuration of commonly-used settings and quickly apply them to a print job. You can save as many print protocols as needed for each printer, or update existing protocols to modify the settings.
For each printer you have configured on your system, a print protocol containing the default settings for the printer is created automatically. This protocol is named: <printername> Defaults.
Note that print protocols differ from printer parameters. Printer parameters define the entire range of available options for a given printer. Protocol settings simply define a set of options to be used for a specific print job. For information, contact your PACS administrator.
To use this feature, ask your PACS administrator to configure your user account.
To display the print protocol settings:
-
In the Print Film window, choose Print | Film Print Protocol Settings or click Film Print Protocol Settings
on the toolbar.
The print protocol settings for the currently-selected printer appear.
-
If required, select another printer from the Printer list.
The default protocol for the selected printer is displayed.
InteleViewer remembers the last-selected printer and print protocol, and will apply these settings the next time you start the application.
