Viewing Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT Images

Depending on your IntelePACS configuration, InteleViewer can be used to launch MedView (from MedImage) to view nuclear medicine and PET/CT images or Mirada XD (from Mirada Medical) to view PET/CT images.

To view images, you must first configure the MedView or Mirada XD preferences.

To use this feature, ask your PACS administrator to enable the Third-Party Viewer privilege in your user account.

To view nuclear medicine and PET/CT images in MedView:

1. Select the series whose images you want to view.

2. From the main menu, choose Utilities | Launch MedView.

   The MedView viewer launches automatically and displays the selected image.

   For information on using the MedView features, please refer to your MedView product documentation.

To view PET/CT images in Mirada XD:

1. Select the series whose images you want to view.

2. From the main menu, choose Utilities | Launch Mirada XD or click the Mirada XD icon .

   The Mirada XD viewer launches automatically and displays the selected image.

   For information on using the Mirada XD features, please refer to your Mirada XD product documentation.

To view nuclear PET/CT/MR images in MIM Vista:

1. Load the study whose images you want to view.

2. From the menu, choose Utilities | Launch MIM Vista, or click the MIM Vista icon .

   The MIM Vista viewer launches and displays the selected study. However, the startup view mode is dependant on the configuration at your facility.
